METRO757 & ACCESS AIDS Care

P1000706 Metro757 is a program of ACCESS AIDS Care that offers free, confidential HIV testing through OraQuick and Clearview Complete. These are rapid HIV tests that provide results in 15 to 20 minutes. Each test requires a single drop of blood obtained through a finger stick.

Safer Sex

sex-ed-image This single session group offers participants the opportunity to learn about HIV and other sexually transmitted infections that impact our local community. Videos are used to discuss communication skills around safer sex.

Groups are held in shelters, drop-in centers, substance abuse treatment groups, military installations, and any where else that it is requested. Groups are typically 45-60 minutes in length and include distribution of condoms and other safer sex materials.

Case Management & Outreach

ACCESS AIDS Care provides the following services to all those who qualify:

Nutritious_meals_delivered_with_care

Case Management: Case Management services are designed to assist in providing critical HIV/AIDS support services to individuals and their families. This service is supported by Ryan White Title I, Medicaid AIDS Waiver and HUD Funding. It provides services to over 500 individuals.

Outreach: Outreach services are designed to locate individuals who are infected with HIV and are not currently receiving care. Outreach Specialists work to reduce barriers for these individuals to receive medical care and case management.
